FAQs

Do we call the dances? Yes we do. Not a problem.

Do you play pop and rock tunes? Yes we do although this involves bringing in reinforcements in the shape of our pal Stewart who plays bass and sings superbly well. What songs? Scroll down and see. Whether we are the 3 piece or 4 piece line up, we will bring a selection of CDs to play during our break, and of course you are welcome to bring your own CDs. If a friend or relative wants to DJ, that's fine. However, if you want proper DJs, we thoroughly recommend Two Step DJs.

What do you sound like? We've been described as "ceilidh with a modern twist" which we think is bang on. Have a blast of the sound files here and see what you reckon.

Can you play some background music while guests arrive? Yes, not only is our Andy Clark a splendid guitarist but he also plays fine jazz piano. A ceilidh band that does rock, pop and jazz? It's too good to be true.

For the first dance at our wedding, will you play our special tune? Sure. Just give us advance warning of a few days and we'll learn up your request. As long as its not that James Blunt bloke. Cannae stand him.

Do we need to pay a deposit to book you? Nah, we trust you.

Crowded Croft? Good name. Cheers. It was either that or Bruce Flingsteen.
